Kerbcraft

Kerbcraft Road Safety Training teaches children how to be safe pedestrians by taking them onto real roads and showing them how to be safe.  The children are taken out of school by specifically trained volunteers and are shown how to be safe,  The scheme focuses on three main skills:

• Finding the safest place to cross

• Coping with parked cars

• Crossing safely near junctions

Kerbcraft takes place in the autumn term for Year 1 pupils.
